Learning From My Gambling Errors

I have been gaming online or at land based gambling halls for a good many years. I have been taught, the addiction usually will grab a hold of you and you won’t even see it till you are beaten. Markedly if you are on a scoring streak. I have gone through uncounted thousands of clams in a very short period of time and even still on occasion, I sometimes go a bit too far. It appears you are only having a blast till you make a choice to pay attention to your loss and the anguish sets in, and then you keep advising yourself "I am able to earn the money back" ad infinitum. It doesn’t work. Then you get sick to your stomach and the more you try the quicker you relinquish.

When you see that you are in the black, STAY in the Black! When you start to give away, don’t convince yourself, "well just one more" and again and again, believe me, this plan almost never ever operates. Say you plan on playing on slots, have an amount separate ahead of beginning your play. DON’T exceed that cap, regardless of how appealing. If you happen to win, put the winnings in a separate cup. Do not spend your earnings regardless of what happens. Once you have played through your beginning predetermined threshold, stop. Back off, regardless if it’s online or at a land based casino, don’t stay at the tables or machines. At all times keep in mind, there will be another day, another time. Clearly, this process is able to function for any casino game that you play, be it bingo, poker, electronic poker, keno, twenty-one or any other casino game.

Remember, wagering should be exciting not demanding, sickening work! If you are not having fun yourself, you do not belong at the casinos. If you cannot manage the loss, don’t even start.
