If you like to have a beer every so often, leave your money at home if you are going to do your drinking in a casino. I’m serious. Clean out your handbag, your money belt, and keep all cash, plastic credit and chequebooks at home. Take whatever money you intend to spend on drinks, tipping and whatever pocket change you expect to throw away and keep the remainder behind.

Cynical? Not really. Realistic more like. You may well have a profit after a drunken night out with your buddies and be lucky sufficiently to hit a long toss at a on fire craps game.
