Learning From My Gambling Failures

I have been betting online or at land based gambling dens for a lot of years. I have been taught, the habit is able to acquire a hold of you and you won’t even notice it up till you are beaten. Notably if you are on a winning streak. I have gone through uncounted tens of thousands of dollars in just a short period of time and at times, I will go a bit too long. It feels like you are just enjoying yourself until you make a decision to consider your loss and the anguish sets in, and of course you continue telling yourself "I might be able to earn it back" ad infinitum. It doesn’t work. Then you get queasy in your gut and the more you attempt the quicker you lose.

When you see that you are ahead, STAY on the UP! When you begin to relinquish, do not tell yourself, "well just 1 more" and again and again, believe me, this tactic RARELY ever works. Say you plan on gambling on one armed bandits, keep a number separate prior to starting your gaming. DO NOT exceed this boundary, regardless of how tempting. If you happen to succeed, put the winnings in an alternate pot. Do not risk your profits regardless of what happens. After you have wagered through your beginning determine limit, stop. Call it quits, whether it’s online or in a brick and mortar gambling den, don’t stick at the tables or machines. At all times keep in mind, there will be other days, other times. Obviously, this method usually will work for any game that you bet on, be it bingo, poker, electronic poker, keno, twenty-one or any other casino game.

Keep in mind, gambling is supposed to be exciting not demanding, appalling work! If you are not enjoying yourself, you don’t belong there. If you cannot manage the squanderings, don’t even start.
